Atlanta Time Machine (via Kottke) “The Atlanta Time Machine website is dedicated to examining the history of Atlanta, Georgia by comparing vintage photographs of Atlanta with much more contemporary images shot, more or less, from the same perspective of the original photographer.” This is really neat stuff, these are perspectives that I drive or see on a daily basis. The sheer number of them is incredible.

Awesome link. I don’t think I knew that there was entire baseball stadium across from City Hall East on the Ponce.

If you go into the Whole Foods on Ponce de Leon you’ll see pictures of the stadium on the wall above the entry/exit. The Atlanta Crackers played there for almost 60 years. See http://www.atlantacracker.com/ for more info.

Similar then/now type of interest – only this one is San Fran photos that match up with scenes from the movie “Vertigo”.
